So Melanie Bassett has whats called Pie Night, she has everyone over for a night of all-you-can- possibly-eat pies! Everyone brings one and we all eat pie the Sunday before Thanksgiving, because on Thanksgiving you are too stuffed to actually eat, or at least enjoy the pie. So here is pic of some of the pies and people!

Eeeewwww!
Two Chefs in the kitchen
Amber and I decided to make a recipe she saw in the Cooking Light magazine. We make Pumpkin ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce. This picture hardly does it justice. It was TJ and Ambers first experience with Gorgonzola, pretty strong cheese! We all liked it and next time it will even be better. Way to go Us!

Why Mommy?
Ok, so today is the day! It happened, Bennett was stepping on a box that I have to send to his Grandma and I asked him to not stand on it. He thought for about 5 WHOLE seconds (That can really be a while) and (its like slow motion to me) asks..............."Why?" Now, not a big deal right? Well those of you who know Bennett, KNOW! He can repeat the same word like a million times! For example, "eat Mommy, eat Mommy, eat Mommy, eat Mommy" or "Mommy home?, Mommy Home? Mommy Home? (His is asking this in the car, he wonders if we are going home)" or "Sick, sick, Mommy, Sick, sick, Mommy Sick, Mommy sick," Ok so you get it! But- I am now awaiting more "Why Mommy?, Why?.....Mommy? Why?" So today is the day it starts...............anyone know when it ends? Did I mention he has asked "why?" about ten times in the last 3 minutes while I was typing this post?

nothing new....
So I feel like I should have some wonderful thing to post. I don't. We are just hanging out and enjoying life. I am just working a little in the evenings and hanging out with Bennett all day. Bennett is going through this phase where he thinks hes soooo funny. It has to be one of the funniest things I've seen, so I guess he is right, hes funny! We are counting down days until we get to go see family in SLC and WA. Dec 18th we fly to SLC. Steve has to come back to Hershey Jan 2nd to go back to classes and Bennett and I are going to Spokane on the 4th of Jan. We are really looking forward to it.
I am really excited to see sooooo many friends and family in SLC, especially my friend Cafe Rio.

We have had the funnest Halloween week! We were able to share some our fun with our new friend Abigail also. Abigail comes over about once a week after kindergarden before Moms home. (Mom is a nurse at the med center!) We love to have Abigail over so here are some pics from when we went to the Egg hunt at the Hershey Outlets. What a blast. We got so much candy that we literally could not fit another piece in our pumpkins. We also went to the Halloween Parade and that was so much fun too.
The Ghoulest Halloween Party Ever!
Last night we had the Ghoulest (coolest, get it?) Halloween party ever! It was so much fun to plan with Jana Nielson. Bennett was a Pirate, Steve was a Vampire, and Kellie was a Witch- Thanks to my Mother in Law who helped make my costume! We had homemade rootbeer complete with dry ice to get the fun bubbley effect.
We will do it again next year, bigger and better!
