Celebrity Status

So for those of you that already know I am obsessed with Cafe Rio, this will be no surprise...for those of you who don't, or don't know me that well- I'm sure you will raise an eyebrow at this post!

So its Wednesday afternoon, Bennett is taking a nap and I get the mail. I am pleasantly surprised with the early arrival of my US Weekly magazine. (It usually comes on Friday.) I decide to snuggle into my covers and relax to the gossip of Hollywood that is SOOO very important I shouldn't wait another minute before cramming all of these "facts" into my brain. You know "who's dating who's ex" and "Who wore it better"?!! Maybe you can relate, maybe not. Anyway as I lay eyes on page 48 I read through all of the fun places that Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have been this summer with a half page spread of them in lounge chairs in Salt Lake City - just to get away for a couple of days- only to discover a Cafe Rio cup on the table behind them. Now I already knew that Cafe Rio was celebrity worthy, but I don't know if everyone does, so heres proof! In Fact, I think they went to SLC JUST to eat cafe Rio and lounge at the Grand America. Maybe that should be our next family vacation???

Lilypie Expecting a baby Ticker

Assateague Island Camping

Andrew, Steve's little brother came to visit us at the beginning of June. He graduated high school and we celebrated by taking a trip to the coast when he was here. We started out camping for 3 days at Assateague Island. It was pretty cool. We saw tons of wild horses and other wild life. We got to camp in the white sand and have campfires right next to the ocean in the evening. There was a little drawback, Mosquitoes Galore! I learned that mosquitoes are the worst after rain and with high temperatures, both of which were present a couple of days before we arrived. Bennett has at least 40 bites! So when you see him and you wonder if he has chicken pox, don't fret, he doesn't! Other than that what a wonderful time.

Its Official - We're Expecting!

It's Official we are expecting a new addition to our family! We are going to have a new baby this Christmas time. I am due December 26th. Here is a picture of our 8 week visit. (Like you can see anything!)

Bennett swears its a girl, I tell him that it may be a brother. His reply is simple, "Nope, its my girl."

We are very excited and I am feeling good - well now I am, 13 weeks later! We are moving to a 3 bedroom apartment at student housing at the Medical Center. That should be great fun, we will be surrounded by lots of friends and even better - a playground! We will be without a dishwasher....I am looking into that one! I think I may invest in a stand alone one that you run through your sink. I'm feeling good about that investment!

Just a quick Hello

Not too much going on with the Wright Family. Steve is hard at work studying for his board exam that he takes soon. I am working and hanging out with Bennett. Uncle Andrew is graduating high school next Tuesday and flying here on Wednesday. I am trying to find fun things to do...like Hershey Park! Oh and that reminds me that we have been to Hershey Park a couple of times this year already. Oh the fun! We are going on a trip to Assateague Island and Rohobeth Island, DE. We are going for 5 days, camping for 2 of them at Assateague Island, with all of the wild horses. I just turned 29...Oh my...I am getting up there! Steve starts his rotations July 7th and first on the agenda is Pediatrics. He is going to do Peds in York, Pa. which is a little bit of a drive from our house, about 40 minutes. I am thinking about going to SLC and Spokane this August or October for the fun of it with Bennett. So thats whats going on in our lives. I thought I would just give a quick update....I will post more after our trip.

Aunt Sissy was here!

My Sister, Nikki, was here for a week! We had to send her on her way today- back to Washington State, yes, I have to clarify THE STATE, because I live back east and everyone will ask you to clarify DC or STATE. So anyway..... we went to WA DC, hung out and cooked at home, and had really cute pictures taken with Aunt Sissy and Bennett wearing matching Tee shirts with her University Logo and their names on them. So anyway we had a great time. So here are some pictures to look at.......
