Merry Christmas and Thanks Santa!
Merry Christmas to all of our friends and Family - What a wonderful year we have had!
Pictures to be posted later....
Bennett had a blast opening each present that Santa left him this morning, first his stocking. To every present he replies out loud..."I LOVE IT, ITS JUST WHAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED." From the first sighting of the Spiderman toothbrush in the stocking to the finale - Marble Maze (the only thing he REALLY he has ALWAYS wanted!)
We had a blast playing with all of out new toys and games (Bennett won us fair and square at Candyland - but I swear it was beginners luck.)
The best part of the day may have been when Bennett picks up an orange from his stocking and passionately declares how much he LOVES ORANGES and after a minute of contemplation looks right at Steve in pure awe and says..."Santa can make oranges too?" Like Santa himself might be cooler than any of his new found superhero friends, which are many!
Sorry to report that we did tell him the truth, Santa probably grew them on a tree. I don't think he can actually make them himself.
Our day concluded with a very sick child throwing up all over the house.
The Cause may be:
A) Santa can't make oranges himself - the pure realization.
B) His meals the last two days have consisted of candy canes, chocolate coins, string cheese, hot dogs, cookies, an occasional orange, and nerds.
C) He may have contracted a stomach virus when he went crazy licking our friends shoes the other night. Steve used this as a learning moment by telling him that this is why we don't put our mouths on dirty things - he might listen now!
Overall a fun filled day! And we are looking forward to another tomorrow as we welcome Elizabeth Jean Wright into our family, making us a family of 4(my favorite number)!
Merry Christmas.

Induction Date!! Hip Hip Hooray!!
So after my appt today with the OB Doc, she set up an induction date for the 26th, my actual due date. If I don't go into labor before, which would be good, but the 26th would really work out nicely, right after the hustle of Christmas.
The countdown is on, *sigh* I am soooo ready to be done with this part....I guess that means a crying baby and dirty diapers, well, HERE WE GO 3 - 2 - 1 DAYS!

Our Snowman
We finally had a snowstorm worthy of a snowman (just barely though!) Bennett did a great job of rolling the snowballs, and made most of the middle one by himself. We'll see how long Frosty lasts... will he melt first, or just get knocked down. Hopefully it keeps snowing! It's not any fun when it rains in December.

Bennett: "Hey Mom?"
Bennett has this new saying from who knows where!
It goes something like this....
B: Hey Mom?
Me: Yeah?
B: Are you ready for this?
Me: What?
B: Hey Mom?
Me: Yeah?
B: Are you ready for this?
Me: Am I ready for what Bennett?
B: GRRRRR.....
Me: Oh my, I am soooo scared! NO! I am NOT ready for THAT!
B: Laugh......
Over and over and over, gotta love it!
