Samuel is here!

Samuel was born on May 26th at 5:30 AM.   We are so blessed to have this little guy in our family.  He is very calm and mellow and we are loving his sweet disposition.  He is such a cuddle bug and I don't mind a bit!

Happy 6th Birthday Bennett and Happy Easter too!

It just happens that this year Bennett's Birthday fell on Easter Day.   We had a fun-filled weekend celebrating both VERY important days!

Look at the BEAUTIFUL dress Nancy Bradford gave Elizabeth!  Its silk and gorgeous.  This picture does is little justice.  

Elizabeth didn't need a spoon to get her eggs out.  Her hands worked really well....they were dyed for a week!

 Bennett got some awesome toys....his favorites were his pocket-copter....the "smallest remote control helicopter in the world!" and his K'nex set.    He also got a new bed and his own bedroom ( him and Elizabeth used to share)  that we are almost done putting together.   He wanted a BASEBALL theme and we surprised him with decorations on his birthday.

Here are my 34 week pictures and Body Combat Launch

I LOVE Body Combat and recently got certified to teach.  This morning was my 2nd launch (which is when we get all new music with new choreography) and I taught with 3 other AWESOME teachers!  So here is the picture of the Tank Top I made and my "Belly" shot for 34 Weeks.

The Theme for this Body Combat was "Warriors"  Hence the "Warrior in Training"!  I love how you can still see the sweat from the class an hour ago.....

Bennett's latest project

Bennett loves all sorts of "Science" Projects.  A friend from Zumba gave Bennett this cool little thing that grows....I think we've all had one before - But he is SO proud of it!

I KNOW, Super Cool right???  We love our "Almost" 6 year old!

Elizabeth is just getting started on being the BEST Kitchen Cleaner EVER too....If I give her a rag she will clean and polish for an hour without a PEEP.

Random things at the Wright household.

Random things at our house.   We just returned from a trip to see family in Utah during Bennett's Spring Break and that was fun!   We are just enjoying the sunny, warm Albuquerque weather (when its not too windy) and getting our yard ready for summer.

Oh we had a really fun Green Dinner with the Morgan Family in SLC on St. Patrick's day with Green Velvet Soup and a Fruit rainbow and Em's AWESOME sugar cookies!

Baby Boy Wright is due in 10 weeks so we are anticipating that arrival.   Bennett will get his own room and a brand new bed for his 6th birthday which is coming up April 24th.

Steven is in General Surgery right now and we are getting close to the end of our first year of residency.  YAY, next year Steve should have a WAY better schedule.  Steve just built shelving in our garage and got it organized...(sigh of relief).   We just became a part of a new ward when the Ventana Ranch Ward split and we are now apart of Volcano Cliffs Ward, which we are really liking too.

Over five and a half

Bennett was unbelievably excited for his second dentist appointment this morning.   He chatted the whole way in the car about how kids shouldn't be scared of the dentist, they don't even give you shots like the doctor..(good point Bennett!).  Then we discussed how if he didn't have any cavities he would be in the "No Cavity Club", a very sought after club for five year olds!  When we finally got back to see the dentist he hopped up on the big dentist chair and when the hygienist asked him how old he was he VERY PROUDLY responded...

"OVER five and a half.

Please, everyone, do NOT confuse "five and a half" with "OVER five and a half."

Happy 7th Anniversary!

7 years....2 1/2 kids....6 years of school and counting.....5 houses....3 states.....lots of good times!

Steven and I celebrated our 7th anniversary this last Saturday  December, 11th.   We had a nice evening without kiddos.

We went to dinner at  The Standard Diner...Anything BUT standard!   I have the Ahi Tuna roll with Israeli Couscous served with wasabi guacamole and  garlic aoili.  YUM!
